This request translates a scan code in a CharData Record to an ASCII character. Optionally, a code page can be specified to use for translation. Otherwise, the code page of the active KCB is used. To translate a given scan code with a particular shift state, indicate the shift state desired with the Shift State field of the CharData Record.
