The tendency of the emulated mouse position to change while a button click is being attempted can be eliminated with only a small initial hesitation, noted as a side effect, while the user attempts to drag the cursor.

A setting in the range of 3-500 milliseconds for the timeout period is recommended, while the active area setting will depend on the screen pel resolution. As a guide, use a value approximately equal to half the size of an icon.
