Input a byte of data from a 16-bit I/O Port

Syntax:

──── I  ────  port  ──────────────────────────────────────────

Parameters:

port

A 16-bit I/O port address. This may be specified as a simple numeric expression.

Results & Notes:

The byte of data is read from the requested I/O port and displayed in hexadecimal at the console. For example:
